IPFL

On-demand production services.
IPFL specialises in the custom manufacturing of plastic components through both Additive and Subtractive processes.
With a diverse 3D printing workshop as well as traditional CNC and fabrication technologies, we focus on high-quality components for a large range of applications within medical, industrial, automation, motorsport and consumer markets.

Micro DLP (PµSL), from BMF, is a high-accuracy 3D printing process which produces highly intricate, precision components and is an IPFL speciality.
This works alongside our other additive technologies utilising high-performance resins, powders and filaments.
These include:

  • high precision micro DLP (PµSL) 3D printing,
  • robust nylon components from HP MJF,
  • multi-material Polyjet printing for rigid/flexible and multi-colour parts,
  • high-resolution clear SLA 3D printing,
  • specialist filament FDM printing with materials such as Ultem and PC.

3D printing is a large part of IPFL, however, our roots come from 53 years of plastic machining and fabrication.
Processes include:

  • 3 & 5 axis CNC machining,
  • diffusion bonding,
  • forming, bending and bonding,
  • chemical and heat treatments
  • laser cutting and marking

As a production and prototyping service on demand, IPFL has gone from strength to strength over the years and continues to evolve with the demands of its loyal customer base through both additive and subtractive technologies.
IPFL began with manual fabrication of plastic components in 1969 and this very quickly evolved into machining and CNC processes. Since 2003 we have adopted the use of additive (3d printing) techniques of various types, including micro 3D printing, to produce parts for an even wider scope of clients.
